Personifying a target audience helped to more effectively communicate the message of this project, and demonstrated the anticipated range of use for the topic at hand. For this project, the goal was to determine a range of people who broadly had a hard time balancing work and life. The challenge was to choose an appropriate yet effective way of expressing these archetypes through something other than just a headshot. Each was shown as if their personality could be summarized in the form of a chair—from a stay at home mom’s highchair, to a busy CEO’s Herman Miller desk chair.
